University of Warwick ranked in top 10 in the UK and top 5% globally
The University of Warwick has been ranked as one of the UK’s top 10 universities, according to the QS World University Rankings 2024.
Warwick has come in 10th in the UK out of 91 universities and has also been rated as the 67th best university in the world out of 1,500 institutions from 104 countries.
The QS rankings place Warwick within the top 5% of universities globally, its joint highest-ever outcome in percentage terms in comparison to other institutions.
Warwick also ranked in the top 10 in the UK for its academic reputation (10th), reputation with employers (9th), and graduate outcomes (8th).
The QS rankings are based on five key indicators: research, employability and outcomes, learning experience, global engagement and sustainability.
Professor Stuart Croft, Vice Chancellor of the University of Warwick said: “I’m delighted to see Warwick has been ranked so highly, both in the UK and globally.
“For us to be rated within the top 5% of institutions globally is hugely encouraging and reflects the wonderful expertise, teaching and research we have here at Warwick.

The QS rankings for 2024 has a different methodology to previous years, with new metrics on sustainability, employment outcomes and international research networks now factoring into the rankings.
