UK Research Supervision Survey

The UK Research Supervision Survey (UKRSS) is the national survey for doctoral supervisors, run by the UK Council for Graduate Education and supported by the Research SuperVision Project. It gives all those involved in research supervision an opportunity to share their experiences of supervising doctoral candidates. Complete the survey: https://research.shift-insight.co.uk/UKRSS

Hard copy theses

From Monday 17 June 2024 PGRs will be required to submit the final electronic version of their thesis in PDF/A format for the purpose of long-term digital preservation, meaning that no hard bound copy will be required for inclusion on a pass list for the award of the degree.

Guidance on converting to PDF/A format is available on the Doctoral College website.
