Expectation of Academic Partners
The University is responsible for ensuring that the standards of its awards are credible and secure, and the student experience is of high quality, irrespective of where or how programmes are delivered or who delivers them. The University will set out expectations for partner institutions that:

- being of good repute and academic or professional standing amongst their peers;
- having a strategic plan and direction complementary to University of Warwick;
- working ambitiously, responsibly and openly, in line with University of Warwick values.
Offer security and scope for sustainable development of the relationship by:
- demonstrating sound financial management and financial security;
- having the legal capacity to enter into, and deliver against, a contractual arrangement with the University; · having the resources (learning and digital learning environment, support structure, facilities) in place to be able to support the partnership arrangement and the learning opportunities being delivered;
- demonstrating their commitment to the partnership and understanding their responsibilities;
- supporting Warwick’s commitment to an ethical, anti-corruption and equal opportunity culture.
Actively support Warwick’s core purpose and strategic priorities to enhance the student experience by:
- having in place appropriate qualified academic and/or professional staff who have the expertise, experience, capability and capacity to deliver to the appropriate standards;
- having in place effective staff development processes;
- recognising the value of, and actively supporting, student engagement in quality assurance;
- providing the appropriate environment to ensure that the safety and welfare of students and staff is paramount;
- supporting the University’s commitment to academic integrity.
