Interim Quality Review 2024/25

Interim Quality Review 2024-25

As part of the University’s commitment to continuous improvement in teaching and learning, the Interim Quality Review (IQR) for 2024/25 served as a transitional approach to reviewing the 2023/24 academic year. This process contributed to developing a new, unified model for annual quality reviews, replacing previous mechanisms such as TEG and ITLR.

The IQR 2024 aimed to assess and enhance the quality of education and the student experience across all academic departments. As part of this process, Departmental Teaching Excellence and Enhancement Discussions (DTEED) were held in 2024/25 to review the 2023/24 academic year. These discussions provided assurance of a baseline level of quality and enhancement, explored current practices in monitoring and review, and consulted on future methods for quality assurance.

The Annual Quality Review (AQR) will now replace IQR - more information will be available soon.
