Using the projector

Video instructions to the right / below

  1. Open the curtains to expose the wall between the corner cupboard doors and the folding doors / partition wall.
  2. Use the light switches behind the curtains to turn off the lights at the front of the Chaplaincy Central Space.
  3. You may wish to close the curtains across the glass doors; but remember that these are also fire exit doors.
  4. Locate the HDMI–VGA connector attached to the cable, which is kept on a hook near the folding doors (underneath the projector notice) and connect your device to it.
  5. Use the remote control to switch on the ceiling-mounted projector. >green button, top right marked 'on'<
  6. Do not make any alterations to the projector settings on the remote. Use the settings on your laptop if you need to change anything.
  7. If you need to activate the central space's speakers when using the projector, simply turn the sound system on at the socket next to the sound cabinet.
  8. Connect the long external audio cable from the AV cabinet (metal cabinet to the left of the glass doors in the main space). Do this by placing the 3mm AV jack into the HDMI-VGA connector connection to the projector (not your laptop) - see photo to the right.
  9. When you have finished, use the remote control to turn the projector off >green button, top left, marked 'standby'< and pack everything away.
