FAQs…
But what about my exams?!
The Easter vacation is 5 weeks long. This break is in the first week – after most of you will have submitted assignments for end of term deadlines. Come away for a rest (you’re going to need it) and then return to still have more than 4 weeks of vacation left for revision. Past experience tells us this is good enough. We've had many students before tell us that they are SO glad that they came away and it’s at just the right time.
But I haven’t been to a Chaplaincy service for months…..can I still come?
Yes, absolutely. It will be very nice to see you. 😊 Also welcome are your friends. We think the Chaplaincy retreat could be pretty perfect for ‘spiritual but not religious friends’ actually (but the retreat is undoubtedly founded on Christian spirituality and beliefs so folk coming need to be comfortable with that)! It’s going to be a lovely, gentle, way to encounter our God of love.
Who can / must I share a room with?
You will have your own ensuite room so there'll be no need to share with anyone.
Can you cater for my dietary requirements?
We will collect your dietary requirements and other needs as part of the booking process and the College is well used to catering for different diets of all kinds. If you have any concerns about this, please do speak to Mark or Annie and we can make sure your needs are met.
