The first anniversary of the opening of the University of Warwick Sports and Wellness Hub was made even more special when it scooped two prestigious awards at the recent RICS Social Inclusion Awards, West Midlands, having been nominated by our Construction partner Willmott Dixon Construction.

Having been shortlisted in the Leisure category against some very impressive schemes, the project team were thrilled when the Hub was announced as the category winner at the online virtual ceremony, and moments later were delighted when the Sports and Wellness Hub did the double to beat the other six category winners to be crowned as the West Midlands ‘Project of the Year’. It now advances to the UK National Finals in September along with the other regional winners to compete for the national title.
