Electric vehicle charging update
The tender for an EV parking solution has been awarded to both replace and install additional units to Zest, who will operate the charging units on competitive market rates. Zest is currently onsite implementing the rollout of charging units. Local signage will be posted on the units to indicate the dates when replacement works will begin. Current works in progress are:

UPDATE 14/10/2024: Temporary traffic lights and restrictions on Library Road for 3 weeks: Monday 7th October - Sunday 27th October
From Monday 7th October, there will be 3-way temporary traffic lights and a partial closure of the service and delivery bays on Library Road for approximately 1 and a half weeks for essential road trenching.
After phase 1 is complete, the works will move to phase 2, which will involve relocating the 3-way traffic lights further up the road and partially closing the service, delivery and accessible bays adjacent to Engineering for a further 1 and a half weeks. Temporary traffic lights on the Kenilworth road - Gibbet Hill road roundabout: Saturday 28th - Sunday 29th September

Closure of the Kirby Corner car park access road link on Lord Bhattacharyya Way: 30th September 2024 - 4th October 2024
From Monday 30th September - 4th October, the link road from Lord Bhattacharyya Way to the Kirby Corner car park will be closed for essential works. Alternative access to the Kirby Corner car park is available through Gibbet Hill Road or Kirby Corner Road.
Temporary restricted access to Library Road & IMC Concourse
From 7am Tuesday 17th September, access to Library Road, IMC Concourse and the surrounding areas will be restricted for up to 6 hours due to the placement of a MEWP for equipment removal from the external IMC bridge. Delivery vehicles and blue badge holders will still be able to access the area by coordinating with the contractor onsite.
