Biodiversity trail: autumn

Green spaces trail – Autumn
There are a number of green spaces on campus, which are available for all to enjoy. We encourage you to walk through the seasons to experience the sights, sounds and smells of nature. You are welcome to explore as much as you like both on and off the trails. Seasons and wildlife are unpredictable! This trail is designed to cover September to November, but plants and birds may be early or late so please explore again to see what has changed.
In autumn you will experience the changing leaf colours across campus and it’s a great time of year to see birds feeding on berries and seeds. The trail takes in paved and grassed areas, lakeside paths, woods and fields. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear considering wet, soft, ground conditions and changeable weather. Please follow the principles of the The Countryside Code Link opens in a new windowand Leave No TraceLink opens in a new window.
