Upcoming change to the sign in process

We will soon make a minor change to the way you sign in to University services through Single Sign-on.

It's a small change that will not affect your username or password.

Currently, when you sign in you're asked on the same screen for your username, password and how long you want to be kept signed in.

The change splits this process into two steps:

  1. First you'll be asked for your username:

  2. On the next screen, you'll be asked for your password and how long you want to be kept signed in:

Making this minor change now will enable us to make further upgrades to the performance and security of the sign in process in the future, and to offer additional features.
