Adding contributors, grants, outputs

1. To add a publication associated, grant or further contributors, click on the relationship tab within the Impact record:

2. Click "Create New" and select the type of relationship you want to create. For this example we are going to add a grant. Please see the screenshot below:

3. Type into the title box and find the desired grant.

4. Associate the with the impact record by clicking on the tick box to the left of the grant and click the button that says 'Link Selected'.

5. At this point you can click 'Done' if there is no need to add further grant. However, if you needed to add further grants you would need to reset the filters. Please refer to the screenshot below :

6. If you are creating or amending a record of impact and want to link it with a grant or publication on which you are not named, you will need to change the ‘Related to’ filter to the following options:

Option 1 : ‘Users linked to this record of impact’ if the author or grant holder has been named on the record of impact

Option 2 : ‘Any’ will show any grants or publications belonging to people within your department that aren’t linked to the record yet

Option 3 : 'Me' If you are named on the grant or publication with which you’re linking the record, you can leave the filter set to ‘Me’.

7. Back on the main record page, you can see that has been added to the record:

8. When adding a collaborator, you may notice that their name does not immediately become a hyperlink that allows you to click through to their profile. If you refresh the page, or close it and come back, the name will become hyperlinked.

9. When adding a PGR student as a collaborator, please ensure you add both their staff and student accounts, so that they can access the record with whichever account they have logged into the system.
