How are you working with students?

Student Experience is seeking to build an institutional picture of all the ways students are currently invited, involved and/or employed in any university operations, design and planning, whether in the academic or professional services space.

Examples could be student panels, student committees, seasonal temp roles, ambassador roles, advisory groups, associates, explicit co-creation roles, and many more…

International Student Support & Experience team

The International Student Support & Experience (ISSE) team leads the University’s approach to supporting international students across their full student lifecycle.

This includes:

  • Providing holistic, specialist visa advice to offer holders, current students and recent graduates

  • Holding overall responsibility for Home Office UKVI compliance for sponsoring international students under the Student visa route

  • Monitoring developments in international student needs and expectations, and reporting on insights and improvement projects through the International Student Experience Advisory Board (ISEAB), which reports to the International Committee and the Student Experience Management Group
