We're now recruiting!

All students can now apply for temporary work with the Welcome Team, we've got a range of roles from part-time shift work during Welcome Week itself to a full time role with us over the summer.

Welcome Admin Assistant

We're looking for a temporary member of staff to support us with delivery and planning of this year's Airport Transfers project as well as other Welcome Week activity, including the Welcome Week Timetable. You'd be working with us full time for a period of 10 weeks, so would truly be part of the team bringing Welcome Week to life.

We are looking for someone who has both an enthusiastic approach and a meticulous eye for detail. You’ll be a great communicator and experienced with working with a variety of stakeholders at different levels.

Start date 28/07/2025 - runs for 10 weeks
36.5 hours per week, typically 9am - 5pm
£12.83 + £1.55 holiday pay

Welcome Helpers & Team Leaders

Applications are now open to work with us over the Campus Arrivals period and Welcome Week 2025.

We've got a wide range of shifts: from leading campus tours, to manning our info point, event stewarding and even helping students get to campus, you'd be helping us bring the best start to life at Warwick to every student.

This year we're only advertising via Unitemps, although we're encouraging applications from anyone who currently works as an ambassador through the WWS scheme, and we'd recommend mentioning this in your covering letter when you apply.

Team Leaders hold a little more responsibility than Welcome Helpers, and you'd be managing a small team of helpers at some events. You can apply to be both a Welcome Helper and Team Leader, but you cannot work as both. If you're unsuccessful in your application to be a Team Leader, we may still select you as a Helper.

Compulsory in-person training on Tue 23 Sep. Shifts will run Thu 25 Sep - Sun 5 Oct, shift pattern will vary and we cannot guarantee a set number of hours.
You must be able to complete your right to work check between 01.07.2025 - 18.09.2025
Uniform provided
Helper pay is £12.60 + £1.52 holiday pay
Team Leader pay is £13.12 + £1.58 holiday pay
