Erasmus Grants

Anyone studying or working in Europe on a mobility programme as a part of their degree is entitled to an Erasmus Mobility Grant.

The European Commission allocates Erasmus funds to all participating countries through their recognised National Agency. The National Agency for the United Kingdom is the British Council. National Agencies then review participation within their allocated country to establish allowable monthly grant amounts and payment schedules.

As soon as this information is received by Warwick we will update the Study Abroad website to inform all participating students. The University of Warwick will pay students up to 10 months grant allocation (i.e., a full academic year). However, if a students undertakes a language/cultural course immediately prior to starting their study placement and provides a completion certificate it may be possible to pay a total of 11 months.

Allocations are normally paid in 2 installments the first at the beginning of the placement and the second on completion. Paymentswill only be made if a full compliment of the required study abroad forms have been received.
