University of Macau Summer Camp 2026

University of Macau (UM), offers the Summer Camp for Outstanding Students of UM Partner Universities 2026 over six days from 6-11 July 2026.

We are thrilled to offer up to 2 students the opportunity to be nominated to attend the UM Summer Camp 2026 with fees waived (covering participation, on-campus shared room accommodation, local transportation, meals and activity expenses included in the programme).

Please note you will need to fund your own visa fees, insurance, round-trip travel costs and other personal expenses outside the programme.

Why Attend

  • The Summer Camp will bring together outstanding students from MU's worldwide partner universities

  • Participants will delve into Macau’s rich history, discover its UNESCO World Heritage sites, and gain insights into its dynamic economy and unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures

Cost

For the 2 successful applicants UM will cover:

  • Participation and activity fees
  • On-campus accommodation (5-nights in shared rooms)
  • Meals
  • Transportation during activity

For the purpose of this application all nominations must be made by Student Mobility

How do I apply?

You must be formally nominated through Student Mobility for the UM Summer Camp. To do so you must complete the following steps by noon (UK time) on Thursday 9 April 2026

Step 1

Review the opportunity and consider the dates and costs required

Source a referee from your academic department and ensure that they can provide a reference by the deadline - this must be received for your application to be considered

Step 2

Complete the short online application form before the deadline noon on Thursday 9 April 2026

Step 3*

Arrange for your referee to complete an online reference (link below) for you before noon on Thursday 9 April 2026

This should be someone from your academic department

We will confirm which students have been successful in being selected.

Next steps

We will notify all applicants of the outcome by 17:00 Monday 13 April 2026

  • If you are selected you will need to confirm acceptance by noon Wednesday 15 April 2026
  • If you accept a place, we will formally nominate you to UM by Thursday 16 April 2026
    • You will then be contacted by UM with next steps

    * It is your responsibility to contact your referee and ensure your reference is completed in time, we will not be able to confirm receipt of your reference - you should ask your referee to confirm with you that they have submitted this. We can only review applications whose reference has been received
