Renmin University of China (RUC) International Summer School 2026

Renmin University of China (RUC) in Beijing China, offers the International Summer School (founded in 2009), over three weeks from 6-24 July 2026.

We are thrilled to offer up to 10 students the opportunity to be nominated to attend the RUC International Summer School 2026 with the tuition fee (max 2 courses, worth CNY 7,500, approx. £815) waived.

Please note you will need to fund your own visa application fee, living and travel costs.

RUC International Summer School brings together high-level instructors from universities worldwide to offer lectures and courses to students from universities worldwide for new experience, rich knowledge and deep insights. GPA no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Scholarship opportunity - In accordance with relevant policies, RUC will apply to the relevant authorities for International Summer School scholarships for students. These scholarships will be awarded to selected participants upon their arrival on campus.

For the purpose of this application all nominations must be made by Student Mobility

How do I apply?

You must be formally nominated through Student Mobility for the RUC International Summer School. To do so you must complete the following steps by noon (UK time) on Thursday 9 April 2026

Step 1

Review the opportunity and consider the dates and costs required

Source a referee from your academic department and ensure that they can provide a reference by the deadline - this must be received for your application to be considered

Complete the short online application form before the deadline noon on Thursday 9 April 2026

Arrange for your referee to complete an online reference (link below) for you before noon on Thursday 9 April 2026

We will confirm which students have been successful in being selected.

Next steps

We will notify all applicants of the outcome by 17:00 Monday 13 April 2026

If you are selected you will need to confirm acceptance by noon Wednesday 15 April 2026
we will formally nominate you to NTU
If you accept a place, we will formally nominate you to RUC by Thursday 16 April 2026
- You will then need to complete RUC’s registration and pay their application fee – RUC will provide further details

If you are not selected, you will still be able to apply direct on a fee-paying basis

* It is your responsibility to contact your referee and ensure your reference is completed in time, we will not be able to confirm receipt of your reference - you should ask your referee to confirm with you that they have submitted this. We can only review applications whose reference has been received

^#Please note that normally it is not possible for Warwick students to receive credit transfers from Summer Schools unless your home department has advertised an opportunity with such a possibility. It is up to your home department to agree to credit transfers so you will need to check this with them directly
