Friday night is ceilidh night! If you're not familiar with the word, a ceilidh is a barn dance or country dance, accompanied by folk music and the "caller" demonstrating the moves.

Taskmaster

Taskmaster is a great game that brings out everyone’s competitive streak! Whether you’ve seen the TV series or not, you’re certain to enjoy getting involved and completing the challenges set.

Living at University Fair

Monday 26th September, 9am

Where can I do my washing? How sustainable is campus and what's the Sports Hub like? Pop along to the Living at University Fair to meet campus professional services and ask your questions.

Who doesn't fancy a sweet treat (or even two?). Pop along to our Dessert Café at the Oculus and waffle on to your new friends about your Welcome Week experience so far! A selection of waffles, toppings, milk shakes, cold drinks and cakes will be available to buy, with a special £2.50 offer on selected waffles and shakes.

If you play an instrument, or fancy yourself a singer, our Battle of the Cover Bands, in collaboration with BandSoc is for you!

Navratri

Tuesday 27th September, 6pm

To celebrate the Hindu festival of Navratri (in honour of Goddess Durga), we welcome everyone to learn steps to the traditional Indian folk dance, Dandiya, which is played with colourful sticks.
