Departmental Ambassador Training

Departmental Ambassador Training session on 12 March from 16:00—18:00.

The training will comprise of 2 parts – (A) safeguarding and child-protection, (B) working with young people, as below:

Child Protection and safeguarding

  • An overview of child protection
  • How to – what to do if a child discloses to you
  • Do’s and don’ts – FB, Twitter and emails…
  • Look at some real life scenarios

Working with young people:

  • Thinking about your audience
  • Communication skills
  • How to successfully engage
  • Classroom management

This form will be used to manage attendance at an event.
