The University has a number of partnerships with other HE Institutions, schools and colleges, local authorities, third sector and charitable organisations and sector bodies and industry. We see effective partnerships as positive vehicles to enhance the work that we do.

IntoUniversity
IntoUniversity provides local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve. At each local centre IntoUniversity offers an innovative programme that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration.
Brilliant Club
The Brilliant Club are an award winning University access charity. They work with schools and universities across the UK. The charity exists to increase the number of pupils from underrepresented backgrounds progressing to highly-selective universities.
Thinkhigher
ThinkHigher is one of 29 partnerships within Uni Connect (formerly the National Collaborative Outreach Programme). The networks aim to help streamline Higher Education outreach for local schools, as well as exploring new ways of delivering outreach to meet local needs and priorities.
Sutton Trust
Since 1997 the Sutton Trust has worked to address social mobility. They fight for social mobility from birth to the workplace so that every young person – no matter who their parents are, what school they go to, or where they live – has the chance to succeed in life.

CoachBright
CoachBright are a social mobility charity on a mission to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to become confident, independent and resilient so they can lead the lives they want. They partner with Primary and Secondary schools and universities in England to run face-to-face and virtual coaching programmes. Through partnering young people with relatable role models, they aim to raise their confidence, independence and attainment.Realising Opportunities

The Talent Foundry
The Talent Foundry vision is to spark ambition and unlock opportunity so that every young person can succeed and thrive as part of a fairer society. They combine curriculum and career-linked activities with essential skills development opportunities. They support young people to discover their amazing talents, think big about their future and build their skills and confidence to take their next step into higher education or the world of work.Upreach
upReach help disadvantaged students from across the UK to realise their potential. They provide a highly personalised programme of support to each undergraduate student (who are known as an "upReach Associate”). Through successful partnerships with 45 top employers and universities, they offer Associates access to a comprehensive range of opportunities and activities to broaden their horizons, understand career pathways and develop the skills, networks and experiences needed for career success.
