Programme Information

You will be invited to an Offer Holder Open Day directly by the department offering your course. Each department offers their own programme, but whatever your schedule, we will pack your day with plenty of talks, tours and activities.

Warwick Experience Talk and Tours

On selected Offer Holder Open Days, we also run an optional introductory session to complement your department activity. These Warwick Experience sessions include an overview talk, campus tours and visits to some of our accommodation blocks. You can select the session when you make your booking, and then take part in some or all of these activities on the day.

These optional sessions will be available on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 6 February 2019
  • Saturday 9 March 2019
  • Wednesday 20 February 2019
  • Wednesday 13 March 2019
  • Wednesday 27 February 2019
  • Wednesday 24 April 2019

Our Student Ambassadors will be ready to greet you as you arrive on campus and register your attendance.

Activities on the day are as follows:

  • Campus Tours
    9.30am - 1pm Wednesdays; 9.30am - 4.30pm Saturday
Student Ambassadors will lead you on a tour of our central campus, lasting around 30 - 45 minutes.

Please note: some departments run their own campus tours so you won't need to take one of our tours separately. If this applies to you, more information will be sent to you in a confirmation email when you make your booking.
  • Accommodation Tours
    9.30am - 1pm Wednesdays; 9.30am - 4.30pm Saturday
We will open a range of campus accommodation blocks, including en-suites and those with shared bathrooms. Tours are self guided, but we will have Student Ambassadors at each open block to direct you. We recommend allowing around 20 minutes per block you'd like to visit. We'll have more details about which blocks will be open nearer the event.
  • The Warwick Experience talk
    9.45am and 11am (Wednesdays & Saturdays); 2pm and 3.15pm (Saturdays)
A team of staff and student speakers present an overview of living and studying at the University of Warwick, including information on accommodation and social life in the local area, career opportunities and the qualities that make the Warwick experience distinct. This talk answers a number of the most frequently asked questions and is particularly useful if you couldn't make it to one of our Open Days before applying.
  • Mini Exhibition
    10am - 12pm Warwick Arts Centre (Wednesdays); 10am - 3pm Oculus Building (Saturdays)

Speak to our experts from Accommodation, Finance and Funding, Warwick Sport and Wellbeing Support Services (Wednesdays only) and find out more about their range of services and opportunities available to you as a Warwick student.

As your department will be setting the schedule for the rest of your Offer Holder Open day, there is no standard timetable of events for the whole day and your departmental session timings will vary.

You can book onto the Warwick Experience session, department session or both via the invite sent to you by email. If you have any questions, please contact opendays at warwick dot ac dot uk.
