What have we updated?

Introduction

October 2021

We removed the module 'Extended laboratory' module from the 'Modules' tab, as this was an error.

We also amended the modules list for Year Three.

Previous content:

Advanced Organic Chemistry and Laboratory

Advanced Inorganic Chemistry and Laboratory

Advanced Physical Chemistry and Laboratory

Replaced module description:

Advanced Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic and Physical)

Here, you will study the core modules in organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, supported by our virtual learning environment. Representative topics in Organic Chemistry include pericyclic reactions, cyclisation processes, reactive intermediates, and stereogenic centres. In Inorganic Chemistry, you will study organometallic chemistry, catalysis and kinetics, and in Physical Chemistry you will study interfacial chemistry and molecular modelling.

We inserted an 'Important information' box on the 'Modules' tab relating to changes we are planning to make to this course.

17th March 2021

We have added an important information notice to the ‘modules’ tab:

Important information

We are planning to make some changes to our BSc Psychology course for 2022 entry. Core modules are currently undergoing approval through the University's rigorous academic processes. As any changes are confirmed, they will be included in the module list on this webpage. It is therefore very important that you check this webpage for the latest information before you apply and prior to accepting an offer.

We also removed a duplicated core module description for Year One ‘Statistical Methods in Psychology’ and replaced with ‘Research Methods in Psychology’.

Initial launch

This page was launched on 2nd March 2020.
