Previous content:
You will also need grade B or grade 6 in English and Mathematics at GCSE.
We make differential offers to students in a number of circumstances at ABB, to include A level in Biology, plus grade B or grade 6 in English and Mathematics at GCSE.
Revised content:
You will also need grade 6/B in GCSE English Language, 6/B in GCSE Mathematics and 4/C in five other GCSE subjects. Applicants with grade 4/C in GCSE English Language and grade 6/B in GCSE English Literature will also be considered.
IB additional information

We have updated content in the core modules 'final year' section to reflect recent changes:
Previous content:
In the final year you will take one core GSD Dissertation module, plus further relevant modules with a GSD focus from within or outside of the School for Cross-faculty Studies. In the final year, students on both routes can choose to do a Research Project and two optional core modules from a defined list, offered by the School of Life Sciences. Or, you can choose to study four optional core modules from a defined list, offered by the School of Life Sciences.
Revised content:
In the final year you will take one core GSD Dissertation module, plus further relevant modules with a GSD focus from within or outside of the School for Cross-faculty Studies.
In the final year on the Biological Sciences route, students will select either a Research Project or Exploiting Innovations in Biology and Bioenergy and Biorefining. You will also choose two modules offered by the School of Life Sciences from a defined list. Examples include Science Communication, Bacteria: Genes to Behaviour, and Modern Approaches to Diseases.
In the final year on the Ecology route, students will select either a Research Project or Environmental Science and Management and Extreme Environmental Biology. You will also choose two modules offered by the School of Life Sciences from a defined list. Examples include Biological Clocks, Principles of Development, and Exploiting Innovations in Biology.

We changed the following text in 'General Entry Requirements' relating to IB requirements:
Previous Entry:
IB typical offer
36, to include Biology at Higher Level 5, and Mathematics and English.
IB contextual offer
We welcome applications from candidates who meet the contextual eligibility criteria and whose predicted grades are close to, or slightly below, the contextual offer level. The typical contextual offer is 34 including 5 in Higher Level Biology. If you do not have a grade B in GCSE Mathematics, you will need a grade 5 in Higher Level Mathematics or 6 in Standard Level Mathematics. See if you're eligible.
Current Entry:
