We have amended the information about the General entry requirements A level and IB sections:

Changes to A Level section:

New text:

A level typical offer

A*A* in Maths and Further Maths, plus one of the following:

• A in a third subject at A level and either grade 2 in STEP, 64 in MAT, or 6.5 in TMUA

• A* in a third A-Level or

• AA in a third and fourth subject at A level


Old text:

A level typical offer

A*A*A including A* in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics, plus grade 2 in any STEP (or a suitable grade in MAT or TMUA)

Students who achieve a sufficiently high score in MAT or TMUA will have the STEP condition removed. As guidance, in previous years our requirements have been 6.5 in TMUA or 64 in MAT. However, the exact thresholds will only be set after results for these qualifications have been released.

Changes to IB section

New text:

IB typical offer

EITHER 39 with 6 in three Higher Level subjects to include Mathematics ('Analysis and Approaches' only), plus either grade 2 in any STEP, 64 in MAT, or 6.5 in TMUA

OR 39 with 7, 6, 6 in three Higher Level subjects to include Mathematics ('Analysis and Approaches' only)


Old text:
