Our university is located in the heart of England, 3 miles (5 kilometres) from the centre of Coventry, on the border with Warwickshire. Here's how to find us when you're travelling on Open Day.
Driving - Free Park and Ride Service
Campus parking is very limited and not bookable in advance so if you are driving you should use our free Park & Ride service onto campus from Stoneleigh Park (CV8 2LG). Once you're close by, you'll start to see AA signage directing you to the Park and Ride site - please follow these, rather than your Sat Nav, until you arrive at Stoneleigh Park. Once parked, head towards our student ambassadors who will register you and get you on a coach to campus. Vehicles are parked on grass at Stoneleigh and so please bear this in mind and choose appropriate footwear.
The journey between Stoneleigh Park and our campus takes approximately 15 minutes. We would advise arriving an hour before your first session to allow time to park, register at our Welcome Tent and travel to campus.
The first Park and Ride bus from Stoneleigh Park to our campus will be ready at 8.30am. The last bus back to Stoneleigh will leave promptly at 6.00pm so please leave time to return to the coach park.
Blue Badge Holders
Parking directly on campus is restricted to Blue Badge Holders and visitors who require accessible parking only. Please tell us when you make a booking that you require an accessible parking space, or you can email us at opendays at warwick dot ac dot uk if you need to add it later.
If you are travelling by train the best stations are Coventry and Warwick Parkway from which we will be offering a free coach transfer to and from campus throughout the day, just look out for our staff or student ambassadors when you arrive and they will be able to show you where to get the coach. Our nearest railway station is Coventry. There are frequent services direct from London and Birmingham. If you are travelling from the South, Warwick Parkway is also a convenient and cost-effective route.
The journey between campus and the stations is around 25 minutes. We recommend arriving an hour before your first session to allow time to travel to campus and register at our Welcome Tent. The first coaches from the stations to campus will be ready at 8:30am, and the last coaches back to both statios will leave at 5pm so please leave time to get back to the coach park.
