Teachers and Advisers Conference 2019 - Developing Partnerships for Student Success

The University of Warwick are running an exciting one day conference for Teachers and Advisers on Friday 28th June 2019, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at University of Warwick, Coventry.

This conference will bring together academics, staff and colleagues to hear about:

  • New developments at Warwick
  • Admissions policies and processes
  • Faculty and degree updates
  • Degree apprenticeships
  • Campus Tours and much more

The conference is FREE to attend, and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

As part of the booking process you will be asked to choose 3 breakout sessions. Information on the programme and the options to choose from can be found on the following page.

Once you have booked onto the conference you will be sent a confirmation email confirming the sessions you have booked.

If a session does not appear as bookable on the form, this means that places on this session are full; please choose an alternative.

Keynote Speaker now confirmed!

We also have an exciting keynote speaker now confirmed for the conference, Conor Ryan, Director of External Relations at The Office for Students.

Conor Ryan Conor joined The Office for Students in May 2018 as Director of External Relations. Before commencing this role, Conor was Director of Research and Communications at The Sutton Trust. He has advised senior leaders in a wide range of educational organisations, and has acted as senior education adviser and media spokesperson in government. Conor has also written extensively for national and specialist newspapers and has authored and edited several books on education. Outside of the ‘day job’ Conor is a trustee of the National Foundation for Educational Research and of Wellsway Multi Academy Trust.

You can find information about travelling to campus on our website. We are located in Coventry, and easily accessible by public transport, as well as by car. For international visitors, our nearest airport is Birmingham International, for further information about travelling to campus from overseas, please visit the following page.


Parking on the day will be available in Car Park 15.

We have reserved spaces in this car park for attendees of the conference. Parking will also be free of charge, you will be provided with a permit on arrival. If you require a Blue Badge/Accessible parking space, please indicate this on your booking form and we will contact you separately regarding arrangements nearer to the time.


For those of you travelling from long distances who are seeking accommodation, there are rooms available in our conferencing facilities.
