Warwick was where I met my wife. She was in the MBA group a year in front of me. We both went to work in South Africa shortly after finishing the course and wrote our dissertations whilst living there. I based my dissertation on the work I was doing in SA - establishing the Marketing concept of driving experiences as a way of building and promoting a brand profile.

I established a network of franchised Land Rover Experience operations in SA and, once the concept was shown to work, JLR pulled me back to the UK to extend the concept on a global basis.

I officially retired in 2019, but have since given a few talks on Experience Marketing to universities, one in the UK and one in the USA.

Caroline, my wife, still enjoys her work. She teaches business studies at Warwick College.
