When were you at Warwick?
I graduated from Warwick in 2004 with an MSc in Economics.

Do you have any fond memories?
All the memories I have from Warwick are great. I found it a great place not just to learn but also to meet lots of interesting people, with whom I still stay in touch.

Where did you live while you were at Warwick?
In the best hall of residence of them all: Tocil Hall!

Were you a member of any societies?
During my 12 months at Warwick and in between studying and partying, I didn’t find much time for joining societies. The only society that I was a member of was a Polish Society – I guess I was feeling homesick.

What are you doing now?
After 15 years in the UK, I have finally returned to Poland. I live in Warsaw, where I am originally from. I work heading a business strategy team in one of the corporations.

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
Most of the Polish people from Warwick that I keep in touch with still live outside of Poland. However, I am sure that there must be more of us here in Poland. It would be interesting to meet and share experiences of returning to Poland. Of course, I would also be keen to facilitate contact with any expats that live in Poland currently and are also Warwick alumni. Finally, our experiences maybe be valuable to anyone that is currently considering starting their studies at Warwick.

Contact Michael if you want to attend or suggest an event in Poland or want to make contact with the alumni community there
