Although we only have a small coin collection of our own within the Department, we are well-situated for access to the British Museum in London and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and the major collections and libraries housed there. We are, however, in the process of developing extensive specialised numismatic book holdings for the University library, with additional donations now housed within our Numismatic hub.

We also have strong links with the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, through our Honorary Professor Christopher Howgego.
