Assessment Strategy (July 2014)

We have engaged in a consultation process on the assessment strategy with our staff and the student body. The Dept of Classics & Ancient History fully subscribes to the University Assessement Strategy.

In addition to the University Assessment Strategy, the Dept’s Teaching Strategy Group have approved the following:

• All undergraduate essays are submitted online via Tabula
• The dept uses plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) on all assessments submitted electronically
• The Dept Teaching Strategy Group will retain responsibility for reviewing the balance of assessment methods across the degree programme
