This module spreads over three terms, involving weekly two-hour lectures, supplemented by seminars. Expect intense reading of primary sources and secondary literature! Each session should be prepared in advance, using the texts and bibliography provided. Each two-hour session will be divided into a lecture and group discussion on a specific text or topic. Seminars will give you an additional opportunity to get involved in discussion and to ask questions.
