Each work consists of one 2-hour class on a specified topic. The class will be a mix of discussion and lecture components. For each class, there will be reading prescribed (of both primary and secondary literature) on the Moodle page for this course. Make sure you check the reading for each class and complete it ahead of each 2-hour class.

For students taking the module as a Latin text option, there is an additional 1-hour class per week, during which we will read and discuss the grammar, themes and ideas of the prescribed Latin set texts (Seneca's Phaedra, Ovid's Metamorphoses 9 and Juvenal's Satire 6).
