Galen is the subject of an article in the latest issue of the famous German magazine Der Spiegel. The author, Frank Thadeusz emphasises Galen's contribution on psychotherapy in the recently discovered Peri alupias (On avoiding distress). We had a Wellcome-funded one-day conference here at Warwick on the 1st of July, 2014 exploring the multiple points of interest of this new text, and our event is alluded to in Der Spiegel. Proceedings of the 'Galen Day' devoted to the Peri alupias will appear next year.
