Introducing Classics to the Secondary Curriculum

Classics for All, the Warwick Classics Network, and Barr's Hill School are excited to welcome you to a day of free talks and workshops for teachers and SLT on how to introduce the study of Classics and the Ancient World to your secondary curriculum. If you are a teacher or member of the SLT considering what options might be available, this event will provide all of the information you will need. You will also get to see Classics in action inside an inner city Coventry school to which the WCN and Classics for All have helped introduce Classics over the past few years.

If you want to learn more or wish to attend, please email Dr Paul Grigsby at Paul dot Grigsby at Warwick dot ac dot uk

On this day you will:

• Find out about the support and funding available to introduce the study of the ancient world to your school
• Discover the different options and ways of introducing the subject, with practical advice and workshops on creating your own bespoke curriculum
• Learn how Classics and Latin have already been successfully added to the secondary curriculum at our inner Coventry Schools
