Romano-British Interactions


In this section we will look at the coming of the Romans to Warwickshire and the types of interactions which occurred between the Romans and the native Britons. These interactions might be generally classed as positive and negative, and by following the links below you can discover more about the positive political alliances of the civitates or client Kingdoms, both across the country and in Warwickshire, and the negative interactions exemplified in the rebellions of Caratacus and Boudica.
