Live Chats
Join us for a live chat
We're hosting online live chats where you can speak to colleagues and students in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures and find out more about our courses.
What is a live chat?
A live chat is your opportunity to meet members of our community and to get answers to your questions about our degrees. Our live chats will be hosted by staff and students from the School of Modern Languages and Cultures. These sessions are open to everybody and enable U.K., E.U., and international prospective students to ask questions relating to our courses.
Who am I messaging?
Each live chat is administered by an academic member of staff who teaches in the School. There may also be other participants from the School involved in the chat, who will either be current staff or students. At the beginning of the live chat session, staff and students will introduce themselves to you, so you'll know who you're speaking to.
What questions should I ask?
Before the chat, you might want to find out more about the SMLC; explore the modules you might study; find out about the year abroad; and look at opportunities available beyond the classroom. Whatever preparation you have done, this is your chance to ask us your questions.
