Warwick graduate’s film on mental health a contender for Arts Convergences Prize

Recent Warwick graduate and filmmaker Dorothy Allen-Pickard’s short film called ‘THE MESS’ (‘Le Désordre’) about bipolar disorder is a contender for the Arts Convergences prize for videos on the theme of mental health. ‘THE MESS’ follows Ellice’s experiences of living with bipolar disorder: as Ellice gets low, her room gets messier. Dorothy’s work has previously featured at international festivals and on BBC3 and Channel 4. Since graduating from Warwick, Dorothy has also won a number of prizes including The Guardian documentary award and Total Theatre Awards.
