This year's APTIS Unconference programme includes different types of sessions aimed at encouraging discussions and reflection about challenges and opportunities in translator and interpreter training. The programme includes a documentary screening, long coffee and lunch breaks, a lunch networking walk (and an early morning run!), as well as:
Hot Topics Roundtables: a discussion space including opening remarks and allowing the attendees to share their views and invite potential solutions.
Hot Off the Press: presentations introducing recent publications in translator and interpreter training.
Rapid-Fire Presentations: blocks of 10-minute talks that will set the ground for a discussion with the audience.
Unconference Sessions: group discussions or brainstorming sessions that can take different forms (Zooming in, Show and Tell, Troubleshooting, Speed networking) depending on the topic. In each session, participants decide how to manage the conversation and will be assisted by an unconference facilitator.
