Professor Stephen Gundle's book Death and the Dolce Vita (Canongate, 2011) looks set to form the basis of a new television series for eOne, who have aquired the television rights.

Deadline.com is reporting that the pilot episode of Dolce Vita - 'inspired' by Gundle's book - is to be written by Tom Fontana and directed by Oliver Stone. We will provide more information about this project as it develops.
