Biography

Terry is a PhD candidate in Global Sustainable Development at the School of Cross-Faculty Studies at the University of Warwick Faculty of Arts. The Doctoral College at the University of Warwick has awarded her a Chancellor's International ScholarshipLink opens in a new window to research the climate change, forced migration, and human trafficking nexus in Kenya. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice (Magna Cum Laude) and a Master’s degree in Conflict Prevention & Dispute Resolution. She is an educator with 8 years of experience in justice, gender, and human rights, with certification in Instructional Design.


Research Overview

Her research explores climate change, forced migration and the human trafficking nexus in Kenya, with a particular focus on how social categories interact and shape lived experiences in complex and dynamic ways.
