WIHEA Governance
The Academy draws on excellence in learning and teaching practice at Warwick, across the UK Higher Education sector and internationally.
It works in conversation with key stakeholders in education policy, strategy and delivery at Warwick, and both feeds into and supports the implementation of the University's Education Strategy. It also feeds into key governance structures designed to support excellence in teaching and learning at Warwick, including the Learning and Teaching Sub-Committee and the Student Success Sub-Committee.
The Academy, the Academic Development Centre and the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) stand as three academic departments each with our own distinct identity and mission, together strengthening the collaboration and alignment with the Education Strategy commitment to educational excellence and boost the reputation of teaching and learning at Warwick.
To ensure that the Academy is the locus of connected strategy, we are networked to all academic departments and student services on a hub and spoke model.
