The University is currently responding to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching, learning and assessment (TLA). The EPQ team are supporting the integrated institutional effort around TLA, which is being led by the Education Executive as part of the Major Incident decision-making structure.

The University is currently conducting a Review of Assessment led by Professor David Lamburn, Deputy PVC (Education) and work is ongoing in five sub-groups dealing with issues such as assessment strategies, academic integrity (plagiarism and cheating), mitigating circumstances, reasonable adjustments, progression requirements, remedying failure, timing of examinations and examination board procedures.
