We're delighted to announce the launch of a new Learning Circle, Digital Education and Technologies for Teaching and Assessment (DETTA).

Co-led by Caroline Elliott (Economics) and Matt Street (Online Learning), this Learning Circle aims to:

• Produce a Digital Education Framework against which proposed investments can be assessed
• Support recommendations to University education officers regarding possible future investments
• Conduct exploratory meetings with other institutions, and produce data on potential technologies to explore

On Tuesday 24 October, we were thrilled to hold a Networking Lunch for our new cohort of Fellows.

We're thrilled to announce the publication of our 2023 Annual Report, 'A Golden Year', which looks back at the academy's activities over the past academic year!

Warwick Institute of Engagement's Promotion and Reward Learning Circle team up with WIHEA each year to run this series of support workshops for academic staff looking to apply for a promotion. The WIE session will specifically focus on supporting you with your Impact, Outreach and Engagement case. The WIHEA sessions, which run immediately afterwards and talk through the process more broadly. You can book for both, or just one. Both sessions will feature presentations from staff recently promoted, some advice on framing applications and plenty of time for questions and answers.

There are two sessions running at different promotional levels. On Tuesday 7 November (12:00-13:30), the workshop looks at promotion to STF, SRF and Associate Professor. On Wednesday 15 November (12:00-13:30), the workshop looks at Reader and Professor levels.
