The University of Warwick offers scholarships to support refugee, humanitarian protection and asylum seeking students in the UK within the “City of Sanctuary” movement which is committed to building a culture of hospitality in towns, cities and universities across the UK. The Scholarships are available for both Postgraduate (Taught and Research) and Undergraduate students (this latter in partnership with the Article 26 project, supported by the Helena Kennedy Foundation).
- Postgraduate Taught Scholarship: Up to three scholarships will be granted to student looking to start their masters at Warwick in October 2017. These scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for 2017/18, and a stipend equivalent to the RCUK level (£14,296 2016/17) for the one year masters.
- Postgraduate Research Scholarship: Up to two scholarships will be granted to student looking to start their PhD at Warwick in October 2017. These scholarships will be awarded for up to 3.5 years and will cover the full cost of tuition fees and a stipend equivalent to the RCUK level (£14,296 2016/17).
- A minimum of two undergraduate scholarships. These scholarships will cover full tuition fee and a maintenance support of £8,430 a year (£7,097 for those living in the parental home). "
