Summary
LoCoR is a two-year project aimed at co-developing and piloting a new model of project-based teaching that empowers students from different years and disciplines to engage in long-term, collective and interdisciplinary research. This model will offer students an option to build their projects upon completed student research (e.g., dissertations and student-led projects), thereby fostering research continuity and communities. The model will be piloted across various modules across departments at Warwick, including GD307, WM195, and ES327. Once validated, this innovative educational practice will be scaled to other departments and universities, contributing to curriculum design for research-led education, transforming project-based learning, and demonstrating Warwick’s leadership in Higher Education.
