Candy Chromatography

The candy chromatography experiment will allow students to analyse the different food dyes present in a common sweets. By using a variety of different solvents, for example water and rubbing alcohol, students will also investigate the solubility of these dyes in the different solvents. This experiment would works well with the Ink Chromatography experiment that can also be found on the website.
