Please come along to listen or contribute. You are welcome to bring refreshments.

The format will be traditional open mic for music, poetry, spoken word, comedy; either “covers” or your own material. Maximum three pieces or ~15 minutes or as negotiated. No Stairway. No karaoke. Let me know in advance if you want to perform so I have some idea of a running order. You do not have to be good. If you do anything at all you are a total hero. Performing is hard.

There will be an amp and mini mixing desk, two mics, and a music stand for your crib sheets! Ideally bring your own instrument of course. If you want to bring your own amplification then arrive at 5.30 pm and do consider that it is not a massive venue.

This is an open mic not a paid gig, so when someone is performing please don’t chat. Don’t record or video without express permission. Photos probably OK.

If you need a musician to sing with, or do some other performance, or lend a hand, or completely take over, let me know and I might be able to connect you with someone. On the night I am sure we’ll discuss scheduling of future events and tweaks to programme.
