Xi Cheng

I am currently a second year PhD student in biophysical and analytical chemistry group here at Warwick University.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Suzhou University of Science and Technology in China, gaining a bachelor degree in chemistry. During that time, I carried on a study of NO senor based on sodium montmorillonite- hemoglobin-polyvinyl alcohol film.

Then I moved to East China Normal University in Shanghai for a master degree in chemistry. I spent two years on the research on capillary electrophoresis with amperometric detection at chemical modified electrode. I published three papers for this study, which gave me an opportunity to enter into Warwick University with a 3-years funding to pursue the PhD degree.

My current research is focused on the study of FtsZ polymerization and bundling. For more details, please see here.
