PhD student Joe Gilkes a Double Prize Winner

Congratulations to Joe Gilkes, a PhD student under the supervision of Professors Scott Habershon and Reinhard Maurer, and sponsored by HetSys CDT with AWE, who has been awarded two prestigious awards.

Joe has received the Armourers and Brasiers Materials Thesis Prize and the Faculty Thesis Prize from the University of Warwick’s Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine (SEM) for his thesis ‘Chemical Reaction Discovery with Kinetica.jl – Exploration and Simulation of Chemical Degradation’, which introduces a powerful new software tool.
