Meet some of our previous URSS students
The Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS) lets you lead a self-directed research project at Warwick, with academic supervision over 6-10 weeks in the summer. You can apply for a bursary of up to £1500 to cover living expenses and costs. Your project can be in any department, and doesn’t need to relate to your degree, giving you the freedom to explore new research areas. Read about previous students' experiences to learn how URSS has shaped their academic journey.

"For me, it was also about making the most of my summer. I didn’t want to waste the break and let everything I’d learned the year before slip away. I wanted to keep my brain ticking, stay sharp, and be ready to hit the ground running when the next year started”

"The experience is amazing, but there’s so much more to it! You meet new people, become part of a great team, work with experienced scientists and PhD students, learn new skills, and grow your scientific knowledge. The highlight of it was being in a research lab and working with the team, asking quick questions when unsure about something and always getting the help you need.”
