Module Registration Changes

Module de-registration only for students in the Faculty of Science only will be open to students from week 6 of the Spring Term.

Students must de-register from modules by the following deadlines:

29 February 2012 for unusual options

16 March 2012 for modules examined in April

27 April 2012 for modules examined in May/June

Please also remember that the Credit and Module Framework approved by the University Senate: (i) does not permit students to change their chosen assessment method for a module any later the end of the fifth week of the Spring Term, even where this is before the deadline for submitting the first piece of any assessed work (i.e. assessment methods cannot be changed later than the end of the period that departments are given to approve students' final module and assessment method choices in the Spring Term), and (ii) does not permit students to de-register from a module after a significant proportion (10% or more) of the assessment for the module has been completed.

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.

If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.
